Curves




Small Arcs that Hold Together Magnetically


   This project revolved around magnetics and the limits of Bent Lamination. Bent Lamination is the process of bending wood. In creating these arches,  a method had to be constructed to connect the arches together. Thus magnetics became involved. In creating these archs, a system was created which allowed one to insert magnets into the arches then conceal them.
This piece is not considered final. A large scale version of this is envisioned to act as building blocks that both children and adults can play with.
