Lemon Table

If life gives you lemons, make a table.

This table was a difficult project for me to finish. It was originally intended for my fall sophomore furniture studio in 2021. However, it was not finished until the end of that school year in 2022. This table was designed to resemble a lemon, and to act as storage for my shoes. In the original process of making it some of the wood got damaged with split wood and chisel marks. This was the result of hurried craft and impatience. However, this project ultimately is a result of perseverance and care. The entirety of my second semester I reshaped the table ends and scraped paint off in my free time. This allowed me to re-color the table and smooth it out.
